I was recommended to Kelly via my insurance broker, once he informed me that I was eligible to put a claim in for my total and permanent disability insurance. He explained that the insurance companies have expert account managers whose job it is to prove you are not eligible for your claim. He advised that I should not contact my insurance provider at all until I’ve at least spoken to a professional.

I called Kelly and we briefly discussed my case. She told me she would send me an email listing all the information we required and she would follow it up from there. Next day the email arrived, with a list of so many things and a lot of stuff I hadn’t even considered – like letters from my psychologist!! I didn’t even have a psychologist.

So, it took me quite a bit of time to get together the letters from my oncologist, doctors, physio and a psychologist. I even had to book in and see these people first to get appraisals of my condition. It took time and lots of conversations back and forth with Kelly, who guided me through the process.

Most important in all this was the lodging of the forms to the insurer. Kelly had me write and rewrite these several times to ensure there were no unclear incorrect meanings. It was critical that the correspondence to the insurer has no ambiguity for them to deny the claim on.

So, in summary, with all the extra info that Kelly had me get, and the coaching on how to write my correspondence to the insurer, her engagement to work as my claim manager was invaluable. I don’t think I would have had a successful outcome in a timely manner had she not been involved. Using Kelly was definitely worth the expense.

Thank you Kelly.

I wish you all the best.
